After 10+ years working as an electrician and lighting programmer for concerts and musicals in Boston MA, I decided to shift focus and set off to study photography in Santa Barbara, CA. It was there that I was introduced to the technical aspects and challenges of large format film photography. I also spent a majority of my time perfecting the art of digital retouching. After a brief escapade at a flight school in San Diego, I found myself in NYC as a Studio Manager and Retoucher. After a year I was offered A position as co-owner of the studio. Years later I would find myself retouching images for American Eagle Outfitters in Pittsburgh, PA. Then Director of marketing at one of the largest formal wear stores in the country.
After 20 years of jumping around the United States I decided it was time to be closer to family and see what I could make of myself and what adventures I could find in Tennessee.
I’m always looking for new things to learn and believe that everything is an adventure worth exploring.
